Israel & Marissa's Engagement Session

I have known Marissa for a long time.  I worked with her sister, Drea, in high school and was in the same class as her other sister, Lauren.  I was completely honored when she asked me to be the photographer at her wedding.  Knowing her family as I do, I knew I was in for a lot of fun.

We selected to do her shoot at Irvine Park in Orange, CA.  This location is so extremely versatile and has so many different settings to choose from.  I met her fiance, Israel, the day of  the engagement shoot.  There is nothing I love more than an excited bride and groom.  Those two were game for anything I threw at them and we had a blast doing it.  We sure covered our grounds and got a whole bunch of amazing shots... from our swing on Charlie's Angels (engagement style of course!) to playing on the slides to utilizing the railroads for some classic style portraits.  I had SO much fun with them and I absolutely cannot wait to share in their special day.  They are an absolutely beautiful couple with amazing hearts, and I am sure their wedding will be epic.

Israel & Marissa, thank you so much for selecting me to share in your special day.  I cannot tell you how honored I feel and how much I look forward to working with you!

Celebrating, Robbie Style

We are so proud to announce the official unveiling of our website.  There are a few minor kinks still being worked out, but in the meantime, you can find us here:

Once everything is completed, our permanent home will be announced.  Please come check us out!  In celebration of our launch, I am going to share our most recent portrait sitting with you.  I had the honor of capturing a huge milestone in my nephew Robbie's life.... his 1st birthday.  We went to a park in the neighborhood that I grew up in, fought the wind, and just had a blast. I want to share with you some things that I learned from Robbie...

1) Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, is an "unga"
2) Robbie likes me a lot more than I have given him credit for, he may even love me :)
3) At this stage, Robbie is obessed with grass... oh sorry, I mean unga
4) Robbie did not like my idea of getting down and dirty with the cake... I mean unga, sorry, my mistake
5) Robbie definitely has his daddy's hair, and a little bit of wind took hold too
6) Robbie is his uncle's nephew, that's for SURE.  I cannot belive how much this little guy looks like his Uncle Eddie
7) Robbie thought the balloons.... ugh, I mean UNGA's... were hysterical, and we thought the static they generated was even funnier... lol
8) Finally... this kid is simply amazing and I love him more than life itself!
